Kevin made a comment on his blog about some major brush fires around Southern California. The fires seemed to have gotten worse than they did yesterday. I don't know if it is as noticeable elsewhere, but down in Irvine, the sky is still an orange color, and it has been that way for the entire day. I feel like I'm wearing orange sunglasses. It's pretty surreal, as if I'm on another planet. The sun is a deeper orange, almost red color. Plus, it's been raining ash! My car, along with everything else, is covered with a thin layer of smoke debris.
