Okay, I forgot to mention that I'm not going to Saipan (at least, not anytime soon.) The application deadline for the school was at the end of March, but I decided weeks before that I will not apply. While I was trying to fill out the application, I found that I couldn't answer some of the questions honestly. "Why do you want to teach at a Christian school?" I wasn't even sure if I wanted to teach at a school, Christian or otherwise. Sure, I can write down answers that they would probably be looking for, but that would just be lying.

I still am going to the Philippines, though. I don't think I've mentioned it with much detail here, but it is a medical missions trip to the rural province of Nueva Ecija which is about 50 or 60 miles north of Manila. We're providing medical aid and sharing the Gospel at the same time. We will be leaving on April 18th. Actually, it's going to be the 19th since our flight is at 12:30am. We will be at Nueva Ecija for a week. The week after that, a group is also continuing on to minister at Bacolod City at a different island further south until the end of April. It'll be great if you could pray for a few things:
• Pray for protection for our team as we prepare spiritually, physically, and mentally for this trip.
• Pray for safety in travel and good health up to, and throughout the trip. (I think my mouth is fully healed now, by the way.)
• Pray for favor with customs. In order to save on shipping costs, we are each taking a 70lb. box of medical supplies as our second piece of luggage.
• Pray that our team will work together for one purpose – spreading the Gospel.
• Pray that I will be used by God as a willing servant for whatever He wants.
• Pray for the people we will encounter, that they will be open to the Gospel.
• Pray also for my family members still in the Philippines. Although not officially part of the mission trip, I will be spending time with them for a couple of weeks afterwards.
