Friday night, I went to the David Crowder Band concert at Newsong church. That's a whole lot of worship music, almost enough to make up for the weeks I was gone.

Anyway, as far as the medical mission during the first week of the trip, we were at the Abesamis' hometown of Gen. Tinio (aka Papaya) in the rural province of Nueva Ecija. I was assigned into the media team. Anyway, our job was to basically just be historians, go around and videotape and photograph everything going on. From time to time, I would end up being an English/Tagalog translator as well. The cool thing about being a media team member is that I got to see every aspect of the mission from the evangelism to the medical to the dental to the pharmacy areas. I was able to witness how God was working in each area of the mission. During those three days, over 1700 people were seen and heard the Gospel. Thanks for your prayers.

After the mission, a few of us went to the island of Cebu to vacation for a few days. But I'll talk about that another day.
