I'm sitting here waiting for a video file to finish rendering. I pretty much can't do anything else on the computer while that is going on. So, in the meantime, I decided to get on another computer and blog a bit. Well, the other day, I drove up to Chino Hills to meet with a videographer that I'll be doing some editing projects for. Now, I have a few miniDV tapes of a wedding he filmed earlier this year. It's up to me to start putting them together. It'll be an interesting part-time job. Compensation is on a project by project basis. So, in order to be comparable to a full-time job, I probably would have to complete one video per week or so. That's possible, if I spend enough hours each day working on it. That makes sense... if I want to be paid for 40 hours a week of work, I would have to put in 40 hours of work each week. If I work on it only from time to time and it takes me a month to finish a project, then by the time I get compensated, it boils down to only about 20, maybe 10 hours a week. Since I'm basically working at home, disciplining myself is probably the hardest thing. I'm thinking that it would be so tempting to procrastinate. It's kinda weird to wake up in your bed and see your "office" only a couple of feet away.

Besides that, I'm finishing up a couple of videos for the Sunday School presentations tomorrow. Two of the classes requested my services. ^_^ I know there are videos from at least two other classes. So, rather than the usual live skit, song, or dance, it could end up being a film festival tomorrow.
