Q: What is the difference between Prince William and a booger?
A: One is the heir to the throne while the other is thrown to the air.
(Thanks Roman.)
Thanksgiving Sunday School Videos:
Here are the two videos I helped make for a couple of the classes for today's Thanksgiving presentations.
Nursery Class - Forever
This was a big hit with the parents. Some of them are already requesting copies. Haha.
College Group - Dude, Where's My Class?
The College group asked me to help make a video promoting the newly created college class. As some of you recall, the group formerly known as the College and Career group has divided into two separate classes: the College group (with a name yet to be finalized) and the Career group (aka Mosaic). Anyway, this was Roman's video debut. It'll probably stick as the thing most people at church would know him by.
The other classes has some great presentations, too. One of the elementary school classes sang a song. You can see them practicing in one of the scenes in the college video. Another sang a funny song they wrote with their teacher about being thankful for In-n-Out Double-Double burgers, Tapioca Express boba, and other things. The Jr. High class also had a music video with some their testimonies. The High School class had a really funny live skit. Kenzo, you've got Pastor Vince's funny little quirks and sayings right on. Don't be surprised if people start asking you if you've ever thought about being a pastor when you grow up. Haha. For the Career group, we went with dramatic instead of funny this year. Eric edited a great video which I hope to get a copy of soon. ^_^
Other events of the day:
After church, a few of us hung out at Justine's place for a little housewarming gathering. We watched some of our old skits and stuff, both live and video. Ah, memories...
King, Faye, and I then went to Rock Harbor for their evening service held at their brand new building. While we were singing, apparently some pranksters pulled the fire alarm. The crazy thing was the "eeee eeee" siren sound and the flashing lights were still in sync with the music. It took us a while to realize that it was the fire alarm. I thought it was some weird techno thing the worship band was experimenting with. At least the alarm wasn't too distracting during those minutes before they were able to deactivate it.
Oh yeah, afterwards we ate at Denny's with Roman and Andrew. Those guys are so funny. That's where I got the joke at the top from. ^_^
