Rock Harbor Part 2:
Earlier tonight, I picked up Lanie, and we met King, Faye, and some of the youth group at Rock Harbor. To celebrate that church's new building, there were two nights of extended worship yesterday and today. Very cool. The music and singing were also being recorded for a new live worship CD. It was supposed to last only until 9:30pm, but I guess since it was the last night of recording, we all spent an extra 30 minutes singing some of the songs from earlier in the evening. This was cool because there was difference in the worship in the earlier set than from later on. Sure, there was passion in the worship and singing when we started. However, I don't think it compares to the passion and heart for worship present by the time the night was over. The worship leader, Todd Proctor, said that the congregation the night before came ready to worship, but we were leaving ready to worship. I don't know when that CD will come out, but I'll be sure to get a copy when it does. ^_^
