0 - 60 in 4 seconds?
Ever since my brother came back from the Philippines earlier this year, he has been without a car. From time to time, he would use my car. However, the other day, he and my dad bought a car from someone. His new (used) car is also a four-door green Honda Civic like mine. His is a '97 model while mine is '98, but they're from the same generation so they look the same. Talk about confusing. Anyway, I drove his car for the first time when we went to pick up my car from the shop. A few moments after we got on the freeway, I looked down at the speedometer. What the? 100?! I know his EX has a better engine than my DX, but come on... I couldn't have underestimated how powerful its acceleration was. Then I noticed that the other cars were still moving faster. I doubt they were all going faster than 100 mph. The speedometer must be broken. Well, what I didn't notice was that speedometer was in km/h, not mph. Apparently, the vehicle was originally from Canada. I was actually moving at about 60 mph, not 100 mph.
