Pictures Galore:
Okay... two relatively newcomers to our group, Jourdan and Joanna, didn't really get to have a wedding reception when they got married three years ago. So a few weeks back, the rest of us secretly planned out the surprise Tesoro Reception aka Project T-Rex aka Mosaic Christmas Party. We all chipped in and worked out the food, decorations, music, slideshow, and other details. Friday night was the big night. It was so fun, probably one of the funnest receptions I've ever been to. Even planning it out was quite enjoyable. We made them think they were attending a formal white Christmas party, but no, it was a wedding reception for them.

Some highlights of the night included:
· Numerous false alarms while waiting for the Tesoro's and having to restart the entrance music everytime.
· The MC's, Eric and James, using the phrase "Hootie-Hoo!" to get our attention before announcing the next section of the program.
· Jourdan (during his thank you speech): "I didn't really have anything prepared to say." Us: "Why not?!"
· Smashing a piñata during the Christmas party portion of the evening. The piñata had a "College & Career" label on it. Smash the old College & Career name! Make way for Mosaic! The picture I took when Jed finally broke open the piñata looked like a Skittles commercial with all the candy streaming out from the piñata.

Anyway, these pictures from Friday night may be found in:

But wait, there's more!
Tonight was the church Christmas party. The party had a Battle of the Bands theme. Lots of pictures from there, too. Just follow the link:
