One Shining Moment:
You know that highlight montage they always show at the end of the final game of the NCAA Men's Basketball tournament, set to the song "One Shining Moment"? Well, the other weekend, the guys from church just finished playing their last game of the Irvine City basketball league, and I made my own version of One Shining Moment just for fun, using some highlights from the season. I figured with March almost here...

Return of the Car Problems Blog:
It seems that it's usually around this time of the year that I have problems related to my car. Let's see...

• Someone once drove across my front bumper while my car was stopped at a left turn lane, ripping a gash through it. This was after the driver of the other car drove on the sidewalk for about half a block and right before her car stopped by hitting a lamp post.
• My car window was smashed into pieces twice. My car radio was stolen the first time, and my bass guitar was stolen the second time.
• I've had a few flat tires, either from running over something on the road or from having a screw or nail stuck on the tire.

So what is it this time? Well, for the past couple weeks, I've noticed that my car was losing radiator coolant. Turns out there was this crack across the top section of the radiator, right underneath the cap. Whenever things would get too hot, coolant would sometimes leak out instead of going to the reservoir. Then the liquid would hit the spinning fan and get sprayed all over the place, sometimes accompanied with smoke or steam as the drops hit the hot engine.

Needless to say, I got the radiator completely replaced today. And I'm planning to go to the medical mission again this April. Why do such things happen when I'm preparing for something like that?
